BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) — Oscar Arias Sanchez, president of Costa Rica, will pay a state visit to China from Oct. 22 to 28 at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

    Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao made the announcement here on Tuesday at a regular press conference.
